This informational text is written in the form of a children’s book and Is less formal than the anticipated informational text. However, this book follows Mr. Jones as he sets a good example for kids about recycling. He teaches the children in the book about the value of recycling and what would happen to our planet if we didn’t recycle. I think that this is a good informational text for younger students because it teaches them something important in a non-intimidating format.

This book is very informational and perfect for teaching younger students about something that they can do to help the world that they live in. I would definitely use this in my classroom because I think that recycling and saving the planet is extremely important. #SaveTheWhales
