Title: Cinderella or The Little Glass Slipper

Author: Charles Perrault

This traditional tale has been told time and time again in so many different ways!! I just recently wrote a lesson plan about all of the different types of Cinderella stories told across cultures. I think that this book could be used as an opportunity to compare cultural differences and to appreciate the differences.

Although this is a more advanced text, I think that it can be used for younger children as a read aloud and I think that this text lends itself to various teaching opportunities in the classroom.
